Get out your chips and dip! It’s time to celebrate! Our favorite crime-solving trio are back!
Hulu has given the green light for a fifth season of its hit series Murder in the Building .
Not that its update is a mystery to us Akniaks, but we’re glad it’s resolved sooner rather than later.
Who doesn’t want more Mabel, Oliver and Charles? There is no better trio on television than the trio played by Elena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin.
So another ten episodes of their comedic crime-solving approach is great news for Aconix and the perfect pick-me-up for those late-summer blues that are about to end.
“Murder in the Building” alone has been nominated for 21 Emmy Awards this year, and the first two seasons received 28 nominations.
Martin Short and Steven Martin are both up for Best Actor, and Selena Gomez is up for Best Actress.
The show also received nominations for Best Comedy Series and Best Supporting Actress for Meryl Streep.
They deserve every nomination they receive!
More Mysteries of Aknia
We’re already in the throes of the trio’s latest mystery: Who killed Saaz Pataky, and who was advising Charles?
Two episodes in and it’s already a tough nut to crack for our charming trio, but we all know they’re going to find out.
The first two episodes of season 4 have been fantastic so far.
As I mentioned in my review of Once Upon a Time in the West Season 4, the trio seems to be returning to their roots, giving us the same vibe they had when the show debuted.
This atmosphere continues in Building Season 4 Episode 2, when Charles realizes that Saz was indeed murdered.
We get more personal with Charles as he reflects on his long friendship with Saz.
As sad and shocking as her murder was, the upside was that it brought our trio closer together and further developed a bond of friendship and friendship both personally and professionally with the podcast.
And they have a lot of fun together too!
So far we’ve been to Hollywood and back and even met some super interesting characters from the West Wing, “The Sauce Family” being my favorite so far.
And we’re not inundated with guest stars elbowing away the main characters – which is entirely a welcome relief from what I consider to be a season three disaster.
We still have eight more exciting episodes to go, and knowing that there will be another murder to solve at the end of Season 4 is just like the feeling when Howard ate Grevy and Severin!

While it’s still early in the season, there’s no harm in guessing what we can expect to see in Murder in the Building Season 5.
I hope to see Mabel, Oliver, and Charles continue to build their friendship and grow their podcast. Obviously, a movie about them was a huge boost.
Hopefully the movie won’t be the end of their podcast.
Oliver still has a long way to go to overcome his selfish behavior, so another season will give him more opportunities to grow.
Mabel needs to continue to explore who she is and who she wants to be so that she can be happy, but she also needs to stay true to herself.
When she gets her new apartment, or even if she lives with Theo, she should paint another mural on the wall. very beautiful.
Selena Gomez is still the best thing about Murder in the Building. Other than that, no one has been able to convince me. Mabel Morra is the heart of the show. She just needs more room to grow.
Charles may experience his most significant growth this season as he goes through the grieving process.
Of course, another season means more guest stars, but as long as they stay in the back seat like they have so far this season, that’s all good.
It’s too early to guess who Arconia’s new murder victim will be, but all I can say is it better not be Howard!
Instead, another season is another opportunity to get more playing time for Howard and perhaps give him a bigger role in helping our trio solve the mysteries of Arconia.
