Where did he get those wonderful toys? Obviously Super7. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of the 1989 blockbuster “The Batman,” Super7’s Super Robot series introduces the Batmobile. The 13-inch-long, 5-inch-wide vehicle features an original design by illustrator Julian Caldow, after Tim Burton and Anton Furst (later) (who won an Academy Award for film production design) is ready.
The official product description says: “The vehicle’s awe-inspiring exterior features spinning turbofans, rolling wheels, and an array of sculpted details, including machine gun casings, grappling hooks, dual batwing fairings, and more.” Like toys from the Super Robot series All the same, you can take off the outer layer and see the inner details.
“Removing a pair of exterior panels on top of the vehicle reveals the Caped Crusader’s complex inner workings, including a supercharged V-12 engine flanked by two forward-mounted machine guns, a The cockpit as well as the rotating steering wheel, rear oil slick distributor and smoke emitter, and the turbine exhaust afterburner.
This is the first Batmobile in the Super Robot series, but hopefully we’ll get a version of the “Cocoon” armor, as well as Batman Forever and Batman & Robin versions. Super7 has introduced some incredible vehicles in its lineup, including the Ninja Turtles Pizza Party Wagon that GameSpot had an early look at.
The Batmobile is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $125 and will be released on October 14th.
