Hayden Panettiere will star in a survival horror thriller titled separation of a species. The film is a reimagining of the film produced by Wes Craven varietyexplaining that “the film is more accurately a sequel, set after the events of the first film.

A few years later, a group of YouTubers are drawn to the island in an attempt to find the canines in a project they hope will go viral, the brainchild of influencer Vince Venture, played by Bragg.
“The reality is that they face a battle for survival, and each influencer must use their own unique skills to survive.”
There’s no word yet on who Panettiere will play in the movie. The actress is best known for her role as Claire Bennett in the film Claire Bennett. heroKirby Reed scream and Juliet Barnes Nashville.
The rest of the cast includes Joey Bragg, Troy Gentile, leardowns and Peggy Kennedy. They join previously announced Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currie.
brother grif and Nathan Foster are directing and producing the film under their Curmudgeon Films banner. Daro Film Distribution is co-producing and financing. The film is set to be released in 2025.
