Dragon Ball Malaysia has finally confirmed its release date, and it sounds like fans of the series are in for a great October.
It’s always a really good time to be a Dragon Ball fan in general, but October 11th in particular is going to be a really good day. As we all know, Dragon Ball: Sparks Fly! The return of the fan-favorite Budokai series, “Zero,” was originally scheduled to launch on that day, but according to Mantan Web, the latest anime based on the classic series, “Dragon Ball Daimon,” will also launch on October 11. The show will air on Fuji TV at 11:40pm JST, which obviously won’t do much for international viewers, but it’s nice to know it will be available in just over a month’s time.

Fuji TV program director Yuichi Nakajima also said, “All the series [of Dragon Ball Daima] Ready to air” (thanks, Crunchyroll). What hasn’t been confirmed yet is that the series will air outside of Japan – so far, none of the common streaming services have announced that they’ve picked up the anime, including blockbuster anime hits like Crunchyroll and Netflix, so Hopefully the rest of us will get to see Daima soon too.
At least we know about Sparking! Zero launches globally on October 11th, and our own Connor is very impressed and excited to play the game again a few months later.
The new anime, first announced earlier this year, looks to take things back to basics, as Goku and company have been reduced in size and everyone’s favorite Saiyan is back using his pole. Series creator Akira Toriyama was actively involved in the creation of the series but sadly passed away earlier this year.
