We are only a few weeks away from the release of Hateship, the first expansion pack for Diablo 4. In addition to this, the core game will also undergo huge changes due to the arrival of patch 2.0.
There’s been a lot of speculation about the changes players can expect with 2.0. Some of this includes speculation about what will happen with the upgrade system, but it’s safe to say that it will have the same impact on the game as Season 4: Loot Reborn.

All of these are good reasons for Blizzard to bring back the Diablo 4 Public Test Realm (PTR) to allow players to test out all the major changes 2.0 introduces to the game. Judging from how the developers talk about it, the PTR is pretty close too.
PTR dates are one of the many things Campfire Chat will discuss today. Beyond the timing itself, we’re also eager to see what changes the Blizzard team has in store for patch 2.0.
Today’s chat will effectively serve as a preview for the PTR, so it will be filled with new details about what to expect. Community boss Adam Fletcher has assembled a large “Diablo 4” development team for this purpose, including lead live game designer Colin Finer, system designer Aislyn Hall, game designer Charles Dunn and expert game designer Jeevun Sidhu .
All will be on hand to discuss the changes with us. Campfire chat starts with 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm BSTwhich is a common time for Diablo 4 live broadcasts. You can watch it on the official Twitch, YouTube and Twitter channels. We’ve also embedded the Twitch player below:
As usual, you can look forward to a Q&A session near the end of the show, and we have a feeling it’s going to be intense. Later, VG247 will also bring you all the biggest reveals from the campfire chat.
Hateship will be released on October 8th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
