Indie action game Gori: Cuddly Carnage launches this week, allowing players to play as an anthropomorphic cat and clash with mutant toys. To promote the game, Gori’s publisher Wired Productions is offering players the chance to win a “Tinner 4 Two”, allowing them to share a “romantic” dinner with their cat.
Wired Productions’ community manager Steve Williamson proposed the offer on social media to fans who shared the news, followed the company and responded by citing specific Gori comments on Steam.
Tinner 4 Two is a joke collectible sold by Wired Productions on its website that combines cat food and pasta. However, it is not an actual mix of the two. The final product actually has two different jars joined together, one for cat food and one for pasta. A writer for The Sun tasted it and described it as “inedible”. So maybe this is a collectible that’s best left in a jar.
Plus, as anyone who’s ever owned a cat can attest, felines tend to prefer to eat their food alone. But if you dare eat something your cat might like—like any meat product—then suddenly your furry companion won’t let you go. Therefore, any idea of a “romantic” meal with a cat is doomed from the start.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is available on all consoles and PC. There’s also a demo if you want to try it before buying.
