Netflix cancels its fantastic supernatural series dead boy detective After only one season, which is a shame because this show is so much fun!

dead boy detective is a ghost story that “explores loss, grief and death through the lens of Edwin Penn and Charles Rowland, two dead British teenagers, and their living friend, Crystal Palace (Cassius Nelson)”.
Here’s the synopsis: “Is there a nasty ghost around you? Has a demon stolen your core memories? You might want to call Detective Dead Boy. Meet Edwin Payne (George Rextruth) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Lavery), the ‘brains’ and ‘brawn’ behind the Dead Boys detective agency.
Born decades apart and “finding each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… They solve mysteries. They will do anything to be together – including Escape from the evil witch, hell, and death itself with the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal.Cassius Nelson) and her friend Nico (Kitamura Yuyou), they are able to decipher some of the most mysterious paranormal phenomena in the world.
Steve Yorkey A television series was developed. Yorkey also serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Beth Schwartz. Greg Berlanti, Jeremy Carver, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Gaiman also serve as executive producers. The first episode was directed and executive produced by Lee Toland Krieger.
The series’ cast also includes Jennifer Lyon, Brianna Cuoco, Ruth Cornell, Lucas Gageand David Econo.
