Hello dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for August 28, 2024. There are also a bunch of games with Shadow Drops. This means our usually quiet Wednesdays are anything but, which isn’t a bad thing. We’ve got some news about all the new games on the eShop today, as well as the usual list of new games of the day and expiring on-sale games. There’s a lot to see, so let’s get going!

The Partner/Indie World Showcase has a lot of content
Sandwiching two slightly smaller versions of a common straight type together is an interesting choice, which means we’ve got a bunch of announcements coming our way. I can’t cover them all here, but the highlights include some of the shaded ones that we’ll discuss in the “New Versions” section, Capcom Fighting Collection 2this Water Margin I & II remake, Rulongji, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Apocalypse: Anniversary Editionnew studio and rune factory Games, and many, many more. I recommend you set aside some time to watch the video. Skim if you must. There are plenty of great games out there for every taste.

Castlevania Dominus Series ($24.99)
One of the many cool shades from Direct is the third one Castlevania collect. This includes three Nintendo DS games: Dawn of sorrow, portrait of destruction, and Church Medal. It also includes absolutely rancid arcade games, haunted castleand as extras, the remake haunted castle Courtesy of the folks at M2. Much better. As you’d expect from this developer, it’s a top-notch approach, with excellent emulation capabilities and just about every feature you could want. The prices are ridiculous.
Pizza Tower ($19.99)
this Wario LandThe crazy platformer inspired by Direct Shadow Drop heads to Switch. Make your way through the five floors of the pizza tower, destroy it and save your restaurant. If you missed Wario’s handheld adventure, you’ll definitely want to grab this one. If you don’t have strong feelings for Wario but like platformers, you should also check this out. We hope this will be reviewed, but we’ll have to see how things go.
Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)
The shadow continues to fall. Look, it’s Wednesday. Without that, we wouldn’t have much at all. Anyway, Goat Simulator 3. you know how to do it analogy goat It works now. I can’t verify how well the game works on the Switch, but I know the more powerful console will struggle in some areas. So, you know, proceed with caution. Although I think even if it ran poorly it might affect the overall nature of the game. Well, I leave it to you to decide. Stupid goats doing stupid things in the open world that may or may not make your Switch vomit blood.
Peglin ($19.99)
I know it’s cliche to talk on paper and talk about companies leaving money on the proverbial table, but I sincerely think Electronic Arts made a huge mistake by not putting Popcap’s games on the Switch in some form. Maybe even a collection? Well, they didn’t. They won’t. Therefore, we must solve this problem in other ways and for the sake of my fellow citizens Pagel I can’t recommend it enough to fans Pergrin Enough. The game has been out on mobile devices for a while and looks equally great on Switch. Basically Pagel Into the turn-based RPG Roguelite. We will review this soon if you need more details.
Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)
How does Kairosoft spice up its now very stale simulation game formula? Well, I guess one way is to add a license. This is what we have now The story of Doraemon Dorayaki shop, A standard Kairosoft store simulation game featuring popular characters doraemon Comics and animated series. Considerable effort has been made to do justice to the license, and you may even find some characters from the cartoonist’s other works appearing as patrons. Lovely.
Pico Park 2 ($8.99)
more Pico Park for Pico Park Fans out there. Up to eight players can join via local or online multiplayer, making this a game that embraces the “more is better” rule. Complete a series of puzzle stages that require sharp thinking and cooperation to solve. Perfect for those who weren’t satisfied with the first game, but weren’t really different enough to attract new players. That’s fine.
Shangchun City Orchestra ($3.99)
An affordable little rhythm game featuring music from Kamitsubaki Studio. Hit the notes, follow the story and enjoy the tunes. Not the fanciest restaurant, but for the price, it doesn’t have to be.
Soko Penguin ($4.99)
yes that’s one SokobanA sokoban-style puzzle game with a penguin as the protagonist, good. Level 100. You know if you want it.
Q2 Human ($6.80)
More exotic physics-based puzzles, with over three hundred of them this time. In addition to painting, you now have to use your character’s abilities to solve problems. Up to four players can have fun through local or online multiplayer.
