The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thanks everyone for watching. We’re going to talk about last night’s episode of Men Tell All, some of the observations I made from it, and what we saw in the Hawaii episode before the rose ceremony about Devon talking to Jen.
What happened at the final rose ceremony changed a bit. And then we’re going to talk about what those people told all of Aaron about what happened there. My thoughts on Sam M’s performance grant as a bachelor. I have a prediction. This is a prediction but I guarantee you it will happen 1000%.
Also in the realm of reality TV, Brittany Cartwright has filed for divorce from Jax Taylor, and I don’t think she’s going to do anything good for her. Absolute chaos is happening on Big Brother. I’ll tell you what I think. Tomorrow’s podcast, a weekly podcast, will be hosted by Tommy Bracco from season 21 of Big Brother.
We will discuss it. Based on the posts I’ve seen about Tucker on social media, he and I are pretty much on the same page. As a former player, he has some very interesting thoughts on this. He made the top five, right? Anyway, I’m taping with Tommy today, but I can’t wait to talk to him about this season of Big Brother.
Maybe if I have some time on the back end, I’ll listen to the Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green podcast they did earlier this week. We’ll get to all this later. So I don’t want to say Mentor Law was a huge disappointment, but as usual, it promised too much and underperformed. I know the whole thing, I’ve been talking about it all season, let’s let me tell everybody and find out about Sam and Jen and see what he says and see if he shows remorse, See if he does.
I told him what he had to do. I’ll get to that in a second because I do want to talk about something else, you know, the biggest episode that I talk about every season is, are we going to get the hands wave is it introducing the man or is it the introduction of the woman?
Usually, waving with both hands is more of a female thing. To be honest, I didn’t even notice last night. I don’t know if anyone has done this. and. To me, this feels a bit half-assed. I just didn’t really pay attention to any of the two-hand waves. If anyone does it, congratulations to them.
One thing I did notice during these introductions, though. I don’t think this has ever happened in men telling all history or women telling all history. This can’t happen to me. If I’m wrong, I’ll do 500 push-ups. I have no idea. That’s the first thing that comes to my mind. I can’t do 500 push-ups in a row.
over the course of a day. certainly. But that’s me and I have to say this, it’s weird. It’s not a big deal, but when they see it. The contestants on the stage, whether they are all women or men, are basically in order of elimination. The boys in the back row and the women in the back row are all those who go home. Episode one, two, three, and then when it loops back to the front When you line up, when they introduce men and women, they basically arrange them in snake order, and then you see the longer-lasting men and the longer-lasting women in the front row.
In fact, they stuck Jeremy in the back row, and I guarantee you, anyone who finished in the final four on a season of The Bachelor or a season of The Bachelorette had to sit in the back row with Jeremy until last night. Now I’m glad they didn’t ignore Jeremy because what Jeremy said was pretty much correct, but I never saw the last four finalists.
A guy who makes the final four suddenly gains back-row status. It’s never happened to me. This couldn’t have happened before. I don’t even think there’s information about this in the bachelor’s data. I didn’t even think we’d ever get an answer to this question, but let me tell you, there’s no way. Right above my head.
Every time they tell everyone in the top row or who left early why they put Jeremy back there. have no idea. Now I understand he wasn’t the focus of the season, even though he did make the Final Four. We didn’t really get to know him until Seattle, episode six, but I’m glad they, even though they stuck him in the back row, I’m glad they actually let him talk because like I said, he did There are some very good things to say.
They then show us the rest of last night’s cliffhanger episode, with Devon going to Jen’s room and basically just saying he needs more, that he’s opened up etc, and then Jen tells him basically you idiot . I’m in love with you. I was like, oh, okay. Okay, okay. Now I predicted the final rose ceremony yesterday, when she told Devon at the final rose ceremony, I can’t let you propose to me.
I said, it will be followed by a dot, a dot, a dot, until I tell you that I love you. Well, not anymore. Because she had told him she loved him. So she’s told Marcus and Devon now. She loved, she loved them. I think now they showed that again last night when they showed a preview of next week’s episode and the entire season, and we saw the same thing when they showed the final episode and a hint of what’s going to happen in the final episode , how many times they said to Jenny at the final altar: I can’t let you propose to me.
We all know that’s not the case because they make it look like Jenny is single, but she’s not. I know they’re going to say, oh, this is unprecedented, never seen before. Well, that’s not to say she left single, because Jen Shaft left single as a bachelorette.
She was the only other. The other bachelorettes are already engaged, so I don’t know what that is. Maybe I’ll find out in the next five days. Maybe I won’t. But all I know is how they performed in the first two minutes of the season. Ren said at the altar, I can’t let you propose to me.
Yes. That’s it. And then we’ll see it continue after that. Then the person walks away, she drops the last rose, and it’s done. That’s obviously not the case. This is some kind of twist. Now I think it’s going to be followed by a dot, dot, dot. I won’t, I can’t let you propose to me unless I tell you that I love you.
We now know that she has told Marcus and Devin, her last two men, that she loved them. OK So it’s not that, but I think it would be the opposite of what she just said. I don’t know what it was, I know a lot of people thought she proposed to Devon and she was the one who proposed.
I have no idea. I mean, I guess it’s possible. I don’t know if I know what that is, I would tell you, but I don’t. I don’t really have any guesses as to what it is. I have no idea. I just knew, or I thought it was going to be the opposite of what she just said, because I knew she left the island with Devin. I guess just filling in the blanks on what it could be.
But honestly, I don’t have any guesses. What’s interesting to me about the exit with Jonathan is, you know, she takes him and they sit on a bench, and benches are very important in this show. The Bachelor and the Bachelorette. There is always a bench there for everyone to sit on. Jonathan said, you know, he was sitting there the other night and he finally got the clarity that he needed, but obviously it was too late.
He is sorry. He sat there talking to Jane. Then we heard it. The car that took him away just revved its engine, not very loudly, not like a street race car where you hear the car being turned on, and then he was like, oh, that’s my cue. I think I gotta go now I just this is interesting to me because I don’t think we’ve ever heard of usually cars before I think usually already running two guys were talking and when they were done they stood up and led Send them away, but it’s interesting to me because it really stood out because when they were sitting there, I don’t think anyone was talking when the engine was starting.
So it’s pretty obvious. It’s almost like, hey man, come on. We are facing a time crunch here. I don’t know if that’s the case, but one thing I noticed about her and Jonathan’s exit was that they were sitting there and everything was quiet. Then suddenly we heard the engine start, and within five seconds it felt like their conversation was over, but it didn’t sound like it was over until I heard the engine.
I don’t know if anyone else notices this. Maybe it’s just me. I’m just so weird. These were the main things I noticed from the Hawaii episode. They will show us next week. You know, the finale is on Tuesday because Monday night is Labor Day. They won’t be airing the finale over the holidays.
So the finale is next Tuesday night. I’m assuming this is another three hour show, two hours of what happens in Hawaii interspersed with what happens on a live studio set. Once people were eliminated, you know, Marcus was eliminated. I’m sure he’ll be sitting on the couch. Jesse, you need to talk to him.
They would bring Jane out. The two of them would talk and bring out something like German. We’ve seen it a thousand times. We know how the final goes. The plot goes like this, usually it’s a three hour show with two hours of footage from Hawaii and then an hour after the final rose, but in recent seasons they’ve kind of mixed it up so that Outside of commercial breaks and commercial breaks, you can see Jesse in the studio talking to the audience, interviewing alumni, and more.
We may be in this situation too. We’ll probably get Joan on stage at some point. They’re going to introduce her as our Bachelorette because her season is going to start two weeks after that episode airs or, you know, two weeks after one day after it airs. So I’m totally looking forward to that. We already had Grant’s interview last night, but I do want to talk about some of the things people are saying right now.
