Hello dear readers, welcome to the SwitchArcade review for August 27, 2024. After that, we have a review for your reference. I’m just watching the latest Egg control Posted from last week, regulars probably know how this is going to turn out. After that, we only have a new version to view. Fortunately, this is a good thing. We used the usual new and expired sales listings to get things done and they were good too. I don’t know what tonight’s live broadcast will be about, so maybe that will make Tuesday more exciting? It’s a mystery I can’t solve as I write, but you already know the answer as you read. Let’s get started!

Check out today’s Nintendo Direct/Indie World reveal
As predicted by the occasionally correct insider these days, Nintendo scheduled its August Nintendo Direct almost at the last minute. We have a total of 40 minutes, divided into partner presentations and independent world presentations. Don’t expect anything first-party, and definitely don’t expect anything about the Switch’s successor console. By the time you read this, the briefing should be long finished. You can read above and I will summarize the most important points tomorrow.

EGGCONSOLE Star Trader PC-8801mkIIsr ($6.49)
These non-translation issues always boil down to two questions Egg control release. First, what about the game itself? Second, can I play without knowing Japanese? star trader is a fun game, although not what I would call great one. Falcom blends the Japanese adventure game format with some side-scrolling shooter levels, but it doesn’t do either of those things well. There’s at least some decent art on the adventure game side, and it’s fun to see a shooter try to tell a story in this way. You basically talk to people and accept missions, and successfully completing these missions will earn you money, which you can use to upgrade your ship. This is important because you need to keep cash flowing in to stay on top of the action section.
As for the shooting part…well, the PC-8801 isn’t very good at scrolling smoothly. So what you get here is a very choppy experience, and I’m not sure it would be that good if things were running at normal speed. I’m not sure which part of the game is in service of another, but ultimately Star Trader’s fun aspects far outweigh its merits. This naturally leads to our second question. As you might expect, the adventure game section is text-heavy and requires some judicious input from the player to get the best results. If you can’t understand them, not only will you miss half the game, but you’ll likely be stuck in the other half because you won’t be able to earn enough points to keep your ship up to date. You can brute force this better than anyone else Egg control Release, but it’s not a good time.
star trader It’s an interesting piece of gaming history that shows a developer working outside of the realms we typically associate them with. Unfortunately, there’s a ton of Japanese text here that most Western gamers can’t read, severely dampening the fun that can be had by dialing this antique. You’ll probably still get something out of messing with it, but it’s hard to recommend it highly.

Crypt Keeper ($19.99)
A top-down action-adventure game about a recently deceased cat named Pluto, who, after a bad meeting with the guardians of the afterlife, is banished from the palace of the afterlife and sentenced to eternal cleanliness. Dang Dang. Explore, fight enemies with a broom, meet strange characters, fight bosses, expand your abilities, and more. You know how this game works. Did you know? This is good. If you like this genre, I suggest you should try it.
