Nintendo has had quite an active livestream this year, and on the heels of an episode of its new museum showcase, you can expect more news from the gaming giant. This week, Nintendo is upping the ante, combining an independent world demo with a partner showcase. The August 2024 Nintendo Direct will begin today at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET and is expected to last approximately 40 minutes.

So what can you expect from this Nintendo Direct? The company has confirmed it won’t be talking about Switch 2, and as usual, everyone is hoping that Hollow Knight: Silk Song will make a grand return after a lengthy development period. There’s always plenty of games in the indie gaming space to make a splash on the Switch, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a slew of comfortable and innovative games showcased today.
