Jamie Lee Curtis took a moment to respond to paparazzi photos circulating Weirder Friday She and Lindsay Lohan cuddled up in swimsuits.
The Oscar-winning actress noted that she “will use paparazzi photos to invade the creative process of filmmaking” as a result of other media publishing the photo.
“We do our best to keep our stories secret until release time, but every once in a while an image comes along that doesn’t tell you anything about the story or what’s going on with the characters, but it does show the joy and fun we had making #FREAKIERFRIDAY ,” she wrote in a social media post.
She continued: “We know this is going to be the experience you get in theaters next year. Yes, you heard me…theaters. We all go there and enjoy a shared experience in the dark while munching on popcorn and candy, Laugh together and cry together sometimes…”
Curtis and Lohan announced on Friday that they have officially completed ” Blame Friday In this sequel, they play the roles of Tess and Anna, respectively, in the popular 2003 film.
These actresses aren’t the only ones returning for the upcoming film. Original stars Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Song, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Zhao Starring More weird Friday. Newly joined are Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
The sequel, directed by Nisha Ganatra, takes place years after Tess and Anna switched bodies. Anna now has a daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter. “When two families merge, Tess and Anna face countless challenges and discover that lightning can indeed strike twice,” the synopsis reads.
Weirder Friday It is expected to be released in 2025.
