Helldiver 2’s latest Major Order is, at least in theory, one of those games that people will actually enjoy. Seriously, there’s a lot to kill, and if that wasn’t enough, one of Arrowhead’s community managers just reiterated that having fun on the menu is “a clear company goal” when it comes to gaming.
You can’t say the studio has slacked off on developing a 60-day plan of change to help outline it after the whole Free Upgrade debacle, with two patches deployed in the past two days. Of course, one of them was solved urgently with a one-time fix, but that required a lot of work.

One of the bugs that still exists in Arrowhead’s hit list is that the Bile Titan sometimes doesn’t take head damage properly, and some players believe that the latest major order may very well have a side goal of helping the developers collect more data to help eliminate that question.
What does it involve? Well, kill a bunch of terminal guys big boys, five million to be exact. But that’s not all, with a total of 750 million bugs to be wiped out, divers will have to take control of Esker, Estanu and Pandion-XXIV when the order is due – as of this writing, just over five days have passed. So far, approximately 800,000 Titans and 156 million Terminators have completely perished.
Meanwhile, Arrowhead community manager Twinbeard has been fielding a few inquiries about what the studio is doing as part of the aforementioned plan to take action on player feedback. One player asked if better quality control in any patch dropped within 60 days was a realistic expectation, and CM said:
“The specific details of the ’60 Day Plan’ have not yet been finalized (although some work has been completed) [of course] already started), so it would be foolish or presumptuous of me to try to put everything there. We do have certain key areas that I think we’ll reveal more about as we go along, but I can’t say for sure. There’s no point in going into complete radio silence, but at this point I can’t say for sure what we might reveal or when.
In another post, they also reiterated when it comes to the changes: “Fun is the most important thing and will continue to be. If it wasn’t before, this is now a clear company goal for HD2. Feedback will, it is My personal opinion, but I also think the opinion of senior management, I know that feedback is a hot topic and sometimes more complicated than it seems (versus “you know what the players want, reduce nerfs”). , but we do hear you.
