Mika and Witch Mountain ($19.99)
If you have watched Ghibli classics Qiqi’s delivery service Feels like playing a video game version, what you might like Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is being provided. I mean, it’s not Qiqibut it was clearly inspired by it. You play as an apprentice witch who must fly around on a broomstick and deliver various packages to various residents of the mountain town. The game has a nice, colorful atmosphere and I’ll certainly be looking into it further to see if it lives up to its initial potential.
My lovely queen ($19.99)
Lovely wife, lovely daughter, and now lovely queen? Phew. In this game, you play as an emperor who rules over a vast empire. It seems like you have it all, but then your wife dies and suddenly nothing matters anymore. Still, you have to keep everything functioning properly. It’s a simulation game, but one with a heavy narrative slant that culminates in you having to make crucial choices. Previous games in the series have been engaging, if a bit rough, and I expect this will be presented in the same way.
Network Mission ($9.99)
I’d call it a run-and-gun action game, but it’s probably better classified as a run-and-gun action game. You play as a cyber soldier tasked with destroying hostile alien forces. If you don’t want to be a one-man army, you can play some local co-op multiplayer games with friends or family. Seems like a really good time for those who like this sort of thing skat or Contraand the startup price is reasonable.
Mangavaniya 2 ($4.99)
more mangalvaniya For those who want it. As a gentle reminder, these games are not metroidvanias, just linear stage platformers with very light exploration elements. If that’s your thing, that’s fine. Not great, mind you. But it did. That’s all I have to say.
White Eternity ($6.49)
After his friends disappear in the dead of winter, Simon sets out from a mountain town to try to find out what happened to them. This is a turn-based role-playing game where you explore a cursed winter land (winnipeg? ), finding allies and fighting monsters as you go. In fact, you can participate in battles with up to sixteen party members. Neat! The description promises over twenty hours of playtime, which is a lot of play for the price.
