Spin Master has launched the first 13 toys in its Rachel range of women’s themed toys. Inspired by YouTuber Rachel and the music, phrases and images from her videos, the line was developed by Rachel Griffin-Accurso, a team of child development experts, Spin Master and Melissa & Doug.
Ms. Rachel Talking and Singing Doll ($29.99) features Ms. Rachel’s signature pink shirt, headband and overalls. This touch-activated doll has two volume levels and can sing songs like “Icky Sticky Bubble Gum” and say phrases like “I’m proud of you.” It comes with a learning card containing gaming tips and skill-building activities.
Additionally, the Ms. Rachel Surprise Learning Box ($29.99) features different sensory play textures to help kids improve their fine motor skills. This developmental toy set features four interactive learning environments – kids can open the peek-a-boo openings to find and remove different surprises from the box, including five soft plush accessories. The toy also features a drawing of Ms. Rachel.
The collection also includes Melissa & Doug’s Rachel Wooden Learning Blocks ($29.99), which include 14 double-sided activity cards to help kids with color recognition, counting skills, and more. The 26 relief blocks are engraved with letters, numbers, pictures, colors, animals, body parts, emotions and movements. Activity cards include matching and counting exercises, game ideas, information on developing skills, and tips for adults. It can all be stored in one portable box.
Melissa & Doug’s Ms. Rachel Wooden Song Puzzle ($19.99) combines tactile play with a YouTube song series. Kids can grab pegs, remove the six-piece puzzle, reveal more pictures, and listen to music inspired by Ms. Rachel’s videos, including “Playing in the Sun,” “I Love Rainbows,” “Can You Say Mom “Waiting for songs,” etc. Children and adults can turn off the sound to play quietly.
Ms. Rachel Sensory Learning Farm ($24.99) features eight animal and farm-themed environments for kids to explore. Kids can improve their fine motor skills, lift the peek-a-boo flap, play with ribbons, look in the mirror, and use the included teether. Learning Farm also features a variety of textures and numbers.
Kids can also enjoy the Ms. Rachel Tummy Time Activity Bus ($24.99), which lets boys move up and down, honk, wave ribbon wipers, and lift the flap to watch parents kiss their cheeks Baby. The activity bus is soft with different textures for sensory play, features Ms. Rachel’s illustrated images, includes a mirror, and features high-contrast black and white graphics.
So far, the collection also features Ms. Rachel and Herbie Huggable Loveys, each priced at $14.99 and made from soft fabric designed for hugging. In addition, parents and retailers can find two Cuddle & Comfort dolls similar to Ms. Rachel and Ms. Herbie ($14.99 each). The arms can be used to imitate kind gestures such as hugs and kisses, or to make clapping and peek-a-boo motions. The collection also includes Hop Little Bunnies Soft Rattles ($9.99).

The final product in the current range is the Rachel and Herbie sensory toy. The toys, priced at $17.99 each, resemble Ms. Rachel and the character Herbie. Both feature a variety of sensory play textures, including crinkles, and can be attached to the crib or stroller. The toys also come with teethers and rattles.
“Play is so important for young children, it’s how they learn and discover the world around them,” said Rachel Griffin-Acuso. “I’m very proud of this line of toys from Spin Master and I can’t wait to see children and their parents and other caregivers enjoy the learning and connections these toys inspire.”
Each toy will be available for pre-order at all major retailers starting September 15th, with sales starting on September 29th. More toys will be released next year.
