Last week we got word that Amazon was working with Tim Miller and Blur Studios on a Love, death + robots– The style of the video game world secret levela new animated anthology series. Now, we have our first proper look: and confirmation that the team is using a lot of the game to craft the story.
This afternoon, on the opening night of Gamescom, Amazon released a new trailer secret levela 3DCG animated series coming to Prime Video later this year. Each story in the 15-episode series will draw inspiration from a different game, and while we’ve previously heard rumors that only a handful of games would be included, now we know the full story. According to the press release, the 15 games covered secret level include:
- armored core
- harmony
- crossfire
- an unspecified Dungeons and Dragons title
- exodus
- King of Glory
- Mega Man
- New World: Eternity
- pacman
- Various PlayStation games, including Mars
- master
- Caving
- outside world
- Unreal Tournament
- world Warhammer 40,000specifically star warrior 2
Consider that Amazon is working with tabletop miniatures makers to develop a Warhammer 40,000. But overall, this list covers a really interesting variety of shades and styles secret level Want to play together. We’ll find out how well the 15-episode series switches between all of these worlds when it debuts on Amazon Prime Video on December 10.
