Netflix releases second trailer Kaosits new series follows an increasingly paranoid Greek pantheon who believe their free journey on Earth is coming to an end. Feast your eyes, as follows:
While the new trailer gives us our first look at Cassandra (Billie Piper), Medusa (Debbie Mazza), and Lucky (Susie Eddie Izzard) , but it also seems to suggest that our heroes are destined to usurp the gods, with Reedy (Aurora Perrineau) having to make do. Zeus also seems to be able to successfully cast her into Hell for a time, which is shown as a parallel Earth in black and white photography. Only now, the ferry to hell is modern ferryget it? The gods have been modernized. That said, their gladiatorial battles appear to be largely unchanged, except that the combatants now adopt similar costumes and personas to those of professional wrestlers. I think we can safely expect a lot of that in this series.
So, are you excited? Kaos? Jeff Goldblum certainly looks like he’s enjoying his time playing Zeus in casual clothes. Janet McTeer stars as Hera, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, and David Thewlis as Hades. As the trailer shows, the series will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 29th.
