Kingdom Come 2 has been postponed to February 11, 2025.
The original release date was usually 2024, but it’s been pushed back to the week of Valentine’s Day, which is a good thing for the medieval couple. Interestingly, this is very close to the release date of the original game: February 13, 2018. Good game. Window, and we’re very much looking forward to sharing more details about the game at Gamescom next week.

As for Warhorse Studios’ video, the message is slightly different. In it, Warhorse Studios’ Toby stated that the development team was aiming for a 2024 release, but it didn’t quite happen. “We almost did it, almost. But, it wasn’t nearly good enough, so unfortunately we pushed it back to 2025. But at least we now have a really accurate launch date, which is February 11, 2025.”
Why is this message different? Then financial reports and fan videos target different audiences. Financial reports are for investors, so bitter pills like sensible delays have to be swallowed with a pinch of honey, and Kingdom Come fans may be more understanding that the development team isn’t exactly on schedule, as long as there’s transparency.
Regardless, the video also hints at more content to be revealed in the coming weeks, including some new content at Gamescom, so fans won’t have to wait too long to see more.
