Daredevil: Rebirth actor Vincent DonofrioThe Kingpin star recently spoke about the show and teased that it might be more violent than what we’re used to seeing on the show.
In an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, D’Onofrio said of the level of violence: “Some of the things in the show are much more serious than what we did in the book. [Netflix] exhibit.
He then went on to tease some of the things his character does in the story, to his surprise: “My character did something special that I can’t believe it’s in the cut.”
So for fans who were worried that Marvel was going to pull some punches with this series, it doesn’t sound like that’s the case.

The new collection is reportedly inspired by Demon’s Reign The storyline explores the power dynamics between the Kingpin and the vigilantes who confront him. The story revolves around the power struggle between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk, who later became the mayor of New York.
D’Onofrio has previously spoken about the project, saying: “It brings a lot of cool stories and all the incidental stories that happened in the first three seasons. So we’re now starting this rebirth situation where all the history is with us Posthumous and the consequences of all that history, so we’re all talking about Daredevil: Rebirth now.
