The giant robot animated series premiered in July 1999
July 1999, Big Oa unique giant robot animated series with a film noir aesthetic, premieres in Japan. Although the show didn’t gain much popularity domestically, the show was popular outside of Japan, especially in the United States. Unfortunately, little has been done to mark the series’ 25th anniversary. Thankfully, co-creators Sato Keiichi has not forgotten about his series and released some new original works Big O artwork.

Sato in his X (formerly twitter) is released from August 11th to 13th. Mecha The designer presented a piece featuring R. Dorothry Wayneright, Roger Smith and Norman Burg. In his second post, Sato unveiled a bust of the titular robot, Big O.

Sato’s post received more than 4,000 retweets and nearly 10,000 likes. There were comments in Japanese and English between the two posts, with many fans commenting that they loved it Big O Or recite sayings like “Cast in the name of God, ye are not guilty” or “Showtime.”
Hopefully Sato will create more art to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the series.
Big O and Big O II It was broadcast in Japan in 1999 and 2003 respectively. The series has run successfully cartoon networkof far wave block, leading to the production of a second season cartoon network, sunriseand Bandai Vision. The story takes place in Paradigm City, where Roger Smith uses his giant robot B to protect the city.igO.
