Calling all Night Agents and their families, the LEGO Group needs builders to celebrate the power of dreams and creativity!
Starting today, families can participate in LEGO DREAMZzz: Adventures in the Wild at the Los Angeles Zoo. In an exclusive interview with The Toy Insider, 17-year LEGO veteran Chris Steininger revealed the process behind the sculptures and what to expect!

“When building four beloved LEGO DREAMZzz creatures, we used a total of nearly 70,000 bricks to build Bunchu the rabbit, Zian the giant owl gryphon, and Izzie the red panda. We knew these models would translate well to large-scale Construction. Over 500 hours of construction time alone, plus 140 hours of design! We really wanted to harness the power of dreams and get young builders involved in the on-site production of the eight-foot-tall Narwhal hot air balloon! ,” Steininger said.
After viewing the magnificent LEGO sculpture, all visionary and experienced nighttime agents can test their creativity through challenges, activities and building creations at the interactive LEGO construction station.
Kids (and adults) can also interact with architectural masters like Steininger. In the main LEGO Master Builder event, you’ll build small pieces that will grow into something huge! “At designated building tables throughout the event, children and guests of all ages can unleash their creativity by contributing to Narwhal. Their creations will be handed over to me and we will complete this together Magnificent creatures,” Steininger said.
Builders will also receive certificates for their contribution to the construction. Guests will also receive a goodie bag containing LEGO plastic bags to build at home.
This event is like a dream you don’t want to wake up from, so be sure to take some photos to remember this magical moment. There are photo opportunities throughout the event, so you can always look back and see how your family compares to the large LEGO sculptures.
