Are you brave enough to ignore our review of the Borderlands movie and miss out on what you’ll want to know when you watch the movie? Well, at least this isn’t a video game adaptation directed by Uwe Boll. However, the disgraced director took to Twitter to tease the film.
Borderlands grossed just $16.5 million worldwide in its first weekend in theaters, against an estimated production budget of about $115 million (plus marketing costs). Ironically, Ball’s career was actually quite extensive, and I’ll be the first to admit that he was almost Something to do with his brutal postal adaptation. Outside of the realm of video game movies, his Fury movies and Assault on Wall Street even managed to get into “positive” territory in terms of audience reviews, so he’s not completely boring, just a little delusional.
