Current goals: Embark on an epic retro savage journey
earlier this week I wrote how We don’t have one right now, but two New games that are directly in the lineage of classic Barbarian games, such as the truth. have Viking Volga IIa super powerful hack-and-slash action platformer that will kill you, a lot ofgiving you a huge sense of satisfaction when you finally learn its dangers and emerge victorious. besides Thoris a slightly less grueling (but by no means easy) brutal side-scroller where up to four players can embark on an epic journey through dozens of increasingly wild and creative levels. While both games are calling to me, I suspect this weekend will be easier to pick up Thor I prefer the first one.
i was introduced to Thor go through Twitch Live Coming from the always entertaining Macaw45, a Barbarian gaming connoisseur who early in the game expressed mild disappointment at the blandness of the game’s stages. However, as the epic journey continues, this disappointment gradually turns to enthusiasm and awe, Thor Get even more epic and crazy. In the days since, he’s gushed multiple times about how incredible the game ended up being. I actually don’t watch him anymore. Thor Going live before he got too far, I decided I wanted to experience the surprise for myself. I plan on doing that this weekend, at least when I’m not visiting Long Island Retro Gaming Expo Here in New York City. One thing is for sure, this is truly going to be a weekend of retro gaming influences for you, and I’m excited. —Caroline Pettit
