Fallout: London modders are adding a complete New Vegas-style faction representation and disguise system to Team FOLON’s creation, because we Mojave fans can never be satisfied

This might surprise you, but Fallout 4’s massive mod Fallout: London has proven to be extremely popular among Fallout modders who aren’t part of the FOLON team. Some of these big New Vegas fans have even started bringing the game’s faction representation and disguise systems to Blighty.

To be fair, some of them have already done some obvious things with mods, like giving you a way to cure your character’s crippling dog food addiction, and it looks like they’ll have to wait a while before they can enjoy Fallout’s Fun: London cuts out the wild card main quest arc, so let’s have some fun with them at the same time.

Invatorzen’s “faction reputation and disguise system” looks to be the most comprehensive attempt yet at letting you officially confirm that you’re the most maligned person in London, rather than just knowing it because every NPC won’t stop shooting to you.

As you’d expect, it adds a Reputation section for your Atta-boy, letting you see when your actions for or against a particular faction have earned you fame or infamy in their eyes, with shared tiers of love and hate. The exact same language as New Vegas – idolized, neutral, hated, etc. – is shown below. It also includes a New Vegas-style faction disguise system that lets you don some threads you find and take on the role of a clever infiltrator.

“A few years ago, I developed a faction reputation and disguise system for Fallout 4 – unfortunately, having played the game on PS4, PS5, and PC, and replayed it so many times, I lost steam. In order to develop this mod,” explains, “However, Fallout: London was released and was a smaller game than Fallout 4, so I thought I’d revive the mod so I could The system can be brought to London.

At the moment, the mod looks to be still a work in progress, with individual towns/settlements not being added to the reputation system yet, Invatorzen has put some settings in place so that they can make suggestions on what disguises and quest reputation rewards should be added as they continue to work on it.

The modder also adds that their creation “does not reward you with faction reputation or reputation for previously completed quests or NPCs killed,” so you may need to start a new save to use it properly.

If you’re just interested in being able to faction-camouflage it, another mod, DanElwood’s “Faction Camouflage System,” might be worth a look.

Whether you’re interested enough in New Vegas or not to want to try these mods out, be sure to check out our range of helpful guides to learn about the mod’s companions, quests, and more.
