Japanese rock band Sour people Also performed the theme song “Kagayakerumono” (Those Who Shine) for the early live-action film. The live-action series will also use “Kagayakerumono”, but within the story rather than as the ending theme.
The drama has a total of nine episodes and will be Wow wow October 6 at 10:00 PM JST. The series will feature cast and crew from the comic’s recent live-action film and will continue the film’s story.
Kenji Katagiri, Ken OchiaiYosuke Sato joins the film as director Kubo Shigeaki on directing the series. Similarly, Dewa Yoshiaki Joining Film Composer Yutaka Yamada for this series.
The film was released in Japan on January 19 and topped the Japanese box office in its first weekend. The film sold 356,000 tickets within three days of its release, grossing 533,848,690 yen (approximately US$3.62 million).
