Animation Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce Dandandan: first encounteris a wild and heartfelt love letter to B-movies, with the soul of a teen rom-com, and will be released at special preview events in cinemas across the UK and Ireland only one night exist Friday, September 13debunking superstitions and providing fans with an unmissable opportunity to enjoy Trailers for the first 3 episodes of the series that will air on the big screen.
Adapted from the popular manga series “Shounen JUMP+” chainsaw man and Monster No.8, He Dahe is a mash-up of a supernatural thriller and a romantic comedy that follows the unlikely partnership between Momo, a street girl from a family of psychics, and O’Callen, a nerdy boy obsessed with aliens. As the two scramble to disprove the existence of each other’s passion, they become drawn into encounters with spirits and the supernatural that give both teens incredible powers – and maybe something else. Dandandan: first encounter will showcase the first 3 episodes of the series before airing in October this year, while Exclusive interviews with the original manga author Tatsuyuki Nobu and other key staff.
Otherworldly humor and energy He Dahe Making it a perfect fit for fan favorite Science SARU (Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, inner color), with studio veteran Fuga Yamashiro (INU-OH, Let go of your hands Eizouken!) is his first directorial debut, with the famous composer Kensuke Numao creating a heart-pounding soundtrack (inner color, chainsaw man). Original manga author Yukinobu Tatsu worked as an assistant on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s global hit series chainsaw man and fire punch.
Summary:
“Dandandan” tells the story of Momo, a female high school student from a psychic family, and her classmate O’Karen, a mysterious freak. After Momo rescued the bullied O’Callen, the two started talking. However, there was a dispute between them: Momo believed in ghosts but denied aliens, and O’Callen believed in aliens but denied ghosts. In an effort to get the denialists to believe each other, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital famous for UFO sightings, while O’Cullen goes to a supposedly haunted tunnel. Everywhere they go, they encounter overwhelming paranormal activity beyond their imagination. In the predicament, Momo awakened his hidden power, while O’Callen gained the power of the curse and challenged the supernatural power! Their destined love has also begun!
