The trailer also shows off some interesting new footage that fans are excited to see Michael Keaton Returning to play Beetlejuice again after many years.
In the film, “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Dietz family return to their hometown of Winter River. Lydia is still haunted by Beetlejuice, and when her rebellious teenage daughter Astor Lydia’s life is turned upside down when she discovers a mysterious model of the town in the attic and a door to the afterlife opens unexpectedly.
“With trouble in both realms, sooner or later someone will pronounce Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon will return to wreak havoc of his own.”
Keaton joins Winona Ryder Playing Lydia Dietz, Catherine O’Hara Starring Delia Deetz and new cast members Justin Theroux (leftovers), Monica Bellucci (“Spectre”, “The Matrix” movies), Arthur Conti (Dragon House), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, scream six) as Lydia’s daughter Astrid, and Willem Dafoe A B-grade action star who becomes a police officer in the afterlife after his death.
Burton explained why he was interested in telling the story, saying: “I identify so much with the character of Lydia, but all these years later you go through your own journey, from cool teenager to grungy adult and back and forth. I was very touched by this and laid the foundation for it.
