Salem better be ready. “Hurricane Sammy” Brady will return to “Days of Our Lives” in early 2025.
Sammy is one of those characters that people either love to hate. No matter which camp you fall into, there’s no denying that she brings drama.
There’s no word yet on her storyline, but does it really matter? Whatever excesses or impulsive plans Sammy has now, they’re going to be fun!
Sammy leaves town because of Lucas’ nonsense
This is an opportunity to correct the character assassination storyline
Sami leaves town sadly after learning that her true love, Lucas, orchestrated the kidnapping to ensure she would be by his side when he rescued her.

This story is a huge slap in the face to Sami and Lucas shippers. We finally got our dream partner, but within days the marriage fell apart when it was revealed that Lucas was behind Sammy’s kidnapping.
It’s also hypocritical on Sammy’s part because she’s done the same bad things, like drugging Austin to keep him away from her sister.
Lucas has done his time and left Salem to visit Will (who magically moved from New Zealand to Phoenix, but that’s a rant for another day.)
How great would it be if Sammy planned to visit at the same time?
Of course, no one said Sami had to accept Lucas right away. It would be the worst TV trope if Sami and Lucas reconciled off-screen.
However, once Hurricane Sami returns, all bets are off. To put it mildly, Sammy would bring Lucas to his knees.
He has to earn her full forgiveness, but if the story goes in that direction, once he does, it will be one of the sweetest reunions in Days of Our Lives history.
How will Hurricane Sammy face EJ?
These two will always have a love/hate relationship
It’s anyone’s guess whether EJ’s bad luck will get worse or better when Hurricane Sammy returns.

Sami left him in a bad way, and then he ruined his life by pretending that Nicole and Eric’s baby was his. Sami hates Nicole, but she loves Eric, so this will leave her incredibly torn about whose side to take.
EJ deserves some serious bad karma and I’d love it if Sami would throw it out!
Nicole left EJ for the same reason that Sammy did: he got really rough when he didn’t get his way.
No one knows this better than Sami, as their relationship began when Sami forced her to have sex with him to save Lucas’ life.
Supposedly, she long ago forgave him for a lot of his crap, but she might change her mind when Hurricane Sammy comes back.
This is a complicated situation and I can’t wait to see what, if any, thoughts Sami has on EJ.
Only in Salem does EJ get to bounce back and forth between lovers and enemies with women like Sami and Nicole, but that’s what makes it all so interesting.
Alison Sweeney says Sammy’s new story is unpredictable
A new writing team could take Sammy’s story in a whole new direction
It’s hard to imagine Sammy doing anything completely different from anything she’s done before, but it’ll be fun to find out!

According to Soap Opera Digest, actress Allison Sweeney is excited about the storyline she’s pitching. A new team of writers has recently taken the helm, so I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Sammy.
Her scenes won’t air until early 2025, which gives us plenty of time to guess what Hurricane Sammy will do this time around.
