Marvel lifts embargo Deadpool and Wolverine spoilers, so the cast and director posted tons of spoiler-filled details on social media. However, I personally don’t think this is an important thing.
period Deadpool and Wolverinewe get a fun little one-off scene with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is held by Thor (chris hemsworth) is crying over Wade Wilson’s bruised body.
While watching this scene on one of TVA’s screens, Deadpool asked Thor why he was crying for him, and of course, they brushed it off, explaining that it was an “event in the distant future.” So what does this mean?
“Can’t Deadpool die yet?” my mother asked. That conversation gave me the insight that there are several ways to kill Deadpool, such as “throw him into the sun,” or “throw a planet on him.”
Other ways to get rid of Deadpool: a mutation-suppressing collar, crushing his brain (this led to a fun little discussion about what that means and whether blending it is the right way to go) time, he can still age, Weapon X can eat away at him from the inside out, taking his head off for over 12 minutes.
“I know why Thor was crying. There’s no way I didn’t know,” Reynolds said of the scene on X, along with a picture from the scene.
Hemsworth at the time Replied “I can keep secrets too,” the post read. Watch this space.
This scene may be important, but it’s probably the funniest bit of the entire movie.
I’m curious if they’ll mention this in future movies. Maybe, one day we’ll see that scene between Thor and Deadpool play out. I’m still waiting for my Red Team movie to come out.
What did you think when you saw the scene? Is this important or just a fun scene set up for laughs?
