Reality show first round filming The contest was held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with nearly 2,000 entrants competing for the $5 million grand prize. During filming, contestants eat, sleep and live in the stadium and must hand over food, clothing and (oddly enough) medications to staff.
Meals are described as small, with staff serving participants cold oatmeal, raw vegetables and hard-boiled eggs. The only other type of food provided to the contestants was MrBeast brand Feastable chocolate bars. Medications given to staff were difficult to retrieve in a timely manner, with one participant claiming not to need insulin for several days. When another contestant told staff they needed to eat with their medication, they claim staff were dismissive and reluctantly gave them “half a banana.”

But according to Donaldson’s introductory video, the YouTube star claims he always intended to have 2,000, but cut that to half for the actual show.
