7 Days to Die offers a ton of skills to level up your character, but surviving a zombie apocalypse can be a bit overwhelming, and you might decide to invest your points into less useful skills. The game does give you a chance to reset your skill points, but it will cost you. Here’s everything you need to know about resetting your skills.
The option to reset skill points in 7 Days to Die comes from a rare consumable called “7 Days to Die” Grandpa’s Fergit’n Elixir. This elixir will give all your skill points back to you so you can reinvest them. However, this convenient panacea comes with a price.

This is an item that can only be found in the Trade Shop and sells for 6,000 dukes. If you already have some bargaining skills, you should be able to haggle. For example, the screenshot above shows a price of 5,700 Dukes, with 1 point used for bartering.
Grandpa’s Fergit’n Elixir too one time use items, so make sure you know where you want to invest your skill points before using it. If you’re still early in the game, just keep completing quests to save gold to buy it.
