Jamie Lee Curtis She recently regretted and apologized after making “terrible” comments about the current state of Marvel.
In a previous interview with MTV, Curtis was asked what phase Marvel was in, and the actress simply replied, “Not good.” I thought that was a hilarious and witty response, and one that many Marvel fans All agreed before publishing. Deadpool and Wolverine.
Well, the actress has now apologized for calling Marvel “terrible” at this stage, calling the comment “stupid” and saying she even reached out Kevin Feige Apologize in person.
She also said she would no longer do anything to “smear” or do anything “designed for clicks rather than content.”
Her full apology is as follows: “My comments about Marvel were stupid and I will do better. I have reached out to Kevin Feige and I will no longer participate in the mud we call the internet. Sandbox competitions, nor participation in toilet paper promotions or games designed for clicks rather than content or conversation.”
I’ve never even made a “bad” review. The only reason I posted it was because it was funny that she apologized for something that didn’t require an apology.
Who cares if she says Marvel is in a bad state right now! The studio has gone through a phase of producing bad content! This is a fact and it’s okay to point it out to them.
Hollywood is a strange place. In an industry that has a lot to apologize for, it would be foolish to apologize for calling Marvel’s current state “terrible.” But maybe Curtis wants to get in on the Marvel action and this is her way of fixing things.
Ryan Reynolds He even hilariously responded to the apology by saying, “Wait, does everyone have to apologize for bashing Marvel after Endgame?”
I don’t know, but this isn’t the first time Curtis has spoken out against Marvel. She had shouted before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessand says it’s copying 2022’s top songs everything happens at the same time.
She later said that she “has nothing against Marvel as an entity. I’ve seen a lot of Marvel movies. What I’m saying is, Everything at the Same Time is a little movie that can do it . . . and [we] To be able to tell a multiverse story that really moves people.
“I would say it doesn’t have to be a Marvel movie to be a spectacle and really move you.”
What do you think of Curtis’ Marvel comments and her apology?
