The Tesla Cybertruck has been the subject of jokes and memes since the moment it was announced, and once the car was launched earlier this year, they didn’t slow down – its launch was met with all kinds of serious problems. problems, triggering multiple recalls. Now, the Fortress Heroes version of the Cybertruck is finally here, and it introduces at least one game-breaking bug to the battle royale game.
Currently, the Cybertruck SUV body can be obtained for free through a series of tasks in Fortnite, and July 31st is the first day to obtain vehicle skins. But after about five minutes of use, it was discovered that their cybertruck had a fatal flaw: it rendered their nitro fists unusable for the remainder of the game. The bug also affects ship-in-a-bottle items, although at least that’s not terribly important for this season’s meta. On the other hand, the lack of nitro fists can get you killed, as they are the main traversal item this season and are also very effective in close combat.
What happens is that transforming a standard SUV into a Cybertruck in a round of Battle Royale causes your character to twitch strangely every time he tries to fire a nitro fist or ship in a bottle, and this effect persists for the rest of the game The duration of the game persists. If you see a Cybertruck made by someone else, it’s obviously safe to use. But if you’re using the Cybertruck as a skin for your SUV, this is something you’ll have to deal with.
This bug may be related to the Cybertruck’s main unique attribute: its back seat is actually located on the bed of the truck, allowing full aiming and body rotation from these positions, as well as exposure to enemy fire. Epic needs to prevent players from using Nitro Fists and Ships in a Bottle while sitting in these seats – perhaps these blocks will remain in place even after the player exits the vehicle.
Whatever the real reason is, Stronghold Heroes won’t receive a new patch until next week, but it’s probably something Epic can address on the server side.
The Tesla Cybertruck can be obtained for free in Fortress Heroes and Rocket League until Monday, August 5, after which the vehicle will be sold in both games’ item shops. The Cybertruck comes with a variety of decals and color options, including exclusive Baja Off Road decals that can only be obtained by completing missions. Once your Cybertruck is working, you can use the sticker to make sure everyone knows you didn’t pay for it, and maybe avoid the wrath of a Cybertruck hunter.
