Officially licensed by Xbox, this is a bit of an oddity in the 8BitDo catalog. It’s a wired USB-C controller if you plan to use it on an Xbox console, but it can work wirelessly on a PC using 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth. Currently, 8BitDo Ultimate doesn’t offer a wireless mode for Xbox consoles, but if you don’t mind being tethered to your machine, you’ll get a wealth of versatility and customization at your disposal. You still get Hall-effect joysticks, high-quality D-pad, and a pair of remappable back buttons on this controller, and it’s available in two colors.
