Fun days and Fitbit match days have given way to a new era in the event. Today’s health is not competition, but a mentality.
These new ideas focus on the mind and body, representing the next level of health at the meeting.
1. Combined with experience
Health can not only relieve stress or exercise, but also take the form of holistic learning experience. Rather than offering only forest baths (where attendees come into contact with the forest’s attractions, sounds and smells), it also includes a nature photography outing with the opportunity to take their favorite photos home.
2. Set the intention
Rather than offering only morning yoga classes, attendees also have time and space to think about their goals for the day. Have leaders ask them to set intentions at the beginning of the day, the work they want to accomplish and the contributions, and the day of success. This approach takes exercise to another level and sets the tone of the day.
3. Change schedule
Many events start with exercise classes early in the morning, but filling the room can be a struggle when attendees get a party later the night before. Instead, move the health component to the end of the day. Events starting at 4:30 pm will still provide attendees with time before the evening event and provide additional networking and sponsorship opportunities.
4. Rethink rest
The schedule is divided into two parts, providing attendees with an opportunity to snap up snacks and return to a significant call, but also return to a healthy event in 15 minutes. These can range from chair stretching to singing bowl meditation to breathing.
5. Focus on self-realization
Include other types of health (personal, social, environmental, occupational and financial) in activities. For example, personal and professional coaching sessions provide attendees with opportunities to introspective and grow. They can sign up for a 10-minute appointment during breaks and before and during meetings and continue alone if they wish.
6. Introduce things they have never done before
An example is Aura Reading, which uses a machine that captures the colorful energy fields that exist around everyone. Practitioners provide personalized readings about colors and their meanings, thereby allowing attendees to understand their stress, energy levels, and emotional balance. Goat yoga is another refreshing health in which participants are surrounded by free-roaming goats who stab them in positions and even climb into their positions.
