Calling all heroes for the 2024 New York Comic Con cosplay roundup! This year, the event takes place October 17-20 at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. Over 200,000 attendees enjoyed a weekend of panels, photo/signings, and tons of exclusive previews and merchandise.
Headline shows include Baldur’s Gate 3, House of the Dragon, SpongeBob SquarePants (25th Anniversary Edition), Lord of the Rings and Rick and Morty. We noticed that people pay more attention to superheroes and live-action shows than anime.
This year’s most popular cosplay fandoms include X-Men, Deadpool and Wolverine, Beetlejuice and Fallout. Check out some of our favorite cosplays below!

With popularity X-Men 97+ Deadpool and Wolverine, There are many X-Men cosplays out there, including Rogue and Gambit, Nightcrawler (@toxiekat) and Jubilee (@iziebuilds). This Nightcrawler won Best Sound at the Cosplay Crown Championship for Labyrinth Faun, and this Jubilee was featured in Marvel’s NYCC X-Men Cosplay Roundup!
